first official sales post for House of Darkly
This is the first post for my doll clothing label House of Darkly which I launched at the LA Dolpa. Depending how it goes, I may start a separate journal, I will let you know; and as I said these entries will always be LJ-cut. I'm frantically trying to remake my prototypes in between doing other things I put off *before* the Dolpa so I could sew doll clothes. XD;;; However! These are in-stock items and some limited pre-orders on things I still have the prototype for. I will be expanding the information, so please - don't hesitate to ask me questions.

About: All items are designed and handmade by Ayaka from original patterns. All raw edges are serged unless otherwise noted. Because they are handmade, they may have variations and imperfections. Fabrics are pre-washed wherever possible, but please be careful of possible staining. Items which need special care will be noted. Otherwise, you can care for your items with gentle handwashing and ironing when needed.

ETA on Items: PREORDERS WILL CLOSE on Wednesday, December 12th. If you only request in-stock items, I will mail immediately after receiving payment. If you are also doing preorder, I will ship all items together, to save shipping cost. Please leave one month for completion of all your items; if they are done sooner, they will be mailed immediately upon payment (you will be notified when they are completed).

Payment and Shipping: I can accept all forms of PayPal. Please note there is a waiting period for e-checks through PayPal, and a 4% convenience fee for CC-funded transactions. I will also accept money orders. Shipping is first class mail unless priority is requested and is calculated by weight/zip code. I can ship internationally.

Commissions/Custom Orders: Most items can be reproduced with minor changes (fabric color, size, etc) on request; please note pricing will be slightly higher on custom orders. If you want something designed for you on commission, I am willing to consider it; price is determined by complexity and labor involved, and slots on the basis of my free time. I can only accept fairly basic commissions this month (December).


NECKLACES

Details: Made for SD13 boy; they will fit SD16 boy, but it's hard to do the clasp. Leather cording with clasp closure, beads and pendants are sterling plate and pewter (varies).

WRISTBANDS

Details: Choice of size - YoSD, MSD, or SD13 boy. I can do SD13 girl on request. Stretch knit and studs; the studs set so that the prongs are NOT exposed on the back - nothing to scratch your doll!

Lightning tee

Details: Semi-fitted longsleeve raglan tee in stretch knit with a hand-painted lightning bolt design, pulls on over the head; partial velcro in back. (Please note the one in the photo was my prototype, and is slightly wider in the neck than the sale ones, which have an improved fit.

Patch pants

Details: Twill relaxed-fit pants, working pockets, belt loops; fly is velcro with pearl snap closure at top. Will fit regular or long-leg boys (pictured on regular). Removable chain attaches to dee rings; accent pocket on side with pyramid stud decoration; and contrast back pockets and knee patches in a leather-like material.

Stars and stripes tank

Details: Fitted tank-style tee with contrast sleeves and neck and zebra print "epaulet" accent, plus red star on the front.

Details: Snug fit, boot cut pants in stretch jacquard-type material with a design of black roses (sorry, it doesn't photograph well). The boot cut is just enough to fit snugly over bulky SD16 shoes (they fit over the h. naoto boots as well). "Working" front pockets and belt loops; velcro fly with snap closure at top.

Zebra slice shirt

Details: Layered longsleeve shirt, partial velcro closure. Decorative serged hem; sleeves have unfinished hem. I got inquiries on this at the Dolpa which is why I am posting it here.
Price: $20.
Available: PREORDER. I have a limited supply of three of the four fabrics involved, so the run will not exceed 4.

Note: the stripe scarf is not a "production item", it's just Dee's and he insists on wearing it. However, I may be able to make a limited number of them if someone would really like one. (There is a question of having enough fabric.)

(Note: These should fit MSD girl fine also, but since I currently have no model, they were made for the boy body.)

"Zombie Love" tee

Details: Raglan longsleeve tee in two shades of gray, with handpainted "Zombie Love: the heart undead" design. Goes on over the head with partial velcro closure.

Available: PREORDER. I sold out at the Dolpa, including my prototype, and had to make a new one. Because these are so labor-intensive, I am not planning to make another run after this!

Blue plaid bondage pants

Details: Slim fit pants in a blue plaid with decorative side pockets with eyelet accent and removable bondage straps. Working front, side, and back pockets and belt loops; velcro and snap closure. (Minor note: slightly snug fit if your doll's wearing big boots like mine - the buckles were an issue. But they will fit!)

Available: PREORDER. I sold out at the Dolpa. Because they're labor intensive, I may not make another run in this exact design.

Coming in the next week: YoSD clothing, SD13 girl set, two other SD13 boy sets, and "Naoya's snakeskin rockstar pants" (he has NOT forgiven me for selling his prototype). I am unsure of the ETA on the MSD girl version of the SD13 girl set (it will be slightly different); leave me a comment though if you're interested in it.
